Bryson DeChambeau is one of the biggest names in professional golf right now.

His move to LIV Golf in 2022 hasn’t held him back, and DeChambeau is one of only two players to have won a major since switching to the Saudi-backed outfit from the PGA Tour.

DeChambeau has struggled to close out tournaments recently though, and has finished six-over par combined for his last three final rounds at LIV Miami, The Masters and LIV Mexico.

The 31-year-old has a real cult following in the game, and is clearly very popular amongst the wave of young people who are being drawn to the game.

This season, DeChambeau has been driving the golf ball incredibly well and if he continues to do that, he will undoubtedly enjoy success in the three remaining majors of 2025.

The California-born LIV star is a huge draw in the game today, much like Tiger Woods has been over the past few decades, although not quite on the same level as the 15-time major champion.

DeChambeau’s popularity definitely seems to be increasing with every week that passes.

Perhaps what makes him so popular is how relatable he is. He’s just a normal young man, but one with an incredible talent.

Four people DeChambeau picked who he would love to play golf with

When most golfers are asked the question of who would complete their dream foursome, the answers are usually pretty generic.

Woods and Jack Nicklaus usually feature on everyone’s list, but they didn’t on DeChambeau’s.

He was asked by Lexi Thompson to name his dream foursome.

DeChambeau couldn’t settle on just three names and opted for a five-some instead!

The reigning US Open champion responded:

Probably Hogan, Payne Stewart, Moe Norman, my Dad and me, so that’s five.

The two-time major champion showed just how down to earth he really is with those answers, and it was nice to see a tour pro opt for a different list of players when asked that question.

DeChambeau’s very unique dream foursome

Ben Hogan is undoubtedly one of the best five golfers to have ever played the game.

He has nine majors to his name and is one of only six players to have ever completed the Grand Slam.

Payne Stewart is also a legendary figure in the game and won two US Open titles in the 1990’s, before sadly passing away before the turn of the century after a tragic plane crash.

Meanwhile, Moe Norman won 55 professional tournaments throughout his career, with 54 of those coming in his home country of Canada.

He was one of the straightest drivers of the golf ball in history, and that accuracy earned him the nickname, ‘Pipeline Moe’.

However, of all the names DeChambeau mentioned on that list, it would unquestionably be his father who he would play a round with if he could only pick one.

Jon DeChambeau sadly passed away in 2022 after a long battle with various illnesses.

And his son has done him incredibly proud ever since then.
