Memorial Tournament picks

The Golfing Gazette writers have each predicted which player will win the Memorial Tournament this week:

Jordan HarrisJustin Thomas will give us all hope ahead of the US Open by winning this week. He has not got the best record at The Memorial, but did finish second in a playoff at Muirfield Village in the Workday Charity Open in 2020.

James Shearman: It’s about time that Tony Finau won another PGA Tour event. The six-time Tour winner has not lifted a trophy since the 2023 Mexico Open. But he’s been playing well lately, with top-20 finishes at the Truist Championship and PGA Championship.

Peter Lynch: Maverick McNealy has lived up to his name so far this season, and I think he can continue his roller-coaster campaign with a victory this week.
