J.J. Spaun has clinched just the second PGA Tour win of his career at the US Open, after what was a memorable final round at Oakmont.
Spaun played out a historic US Open final round in Pennsylvania, securing the prestigious title with a 64-foot birdie putt.
Viktor Hovland congratulated Spaun on his success shortly after the putt went in, with the pair having played together on Sunday.
Spaun ended the US Open one-under as Hovland finished third on two-over, a shot behind second-placed Robert MacIntyre.
Several players finished strong at Oakmont despite the difficult conditions, with the fourth round having been disrupted by a 90-minute rain delay.

How did US Open champion J.J. Spaun clinch his first PGA Tour win?
But it was all about Spaun, who had previously only triumphed on the PGA Tour at the 2022 Valero Texas Open.
Back then on the Oaks Course at TPC San Antonio, the American ace carded rounds of 67, 70, 69 and 69.
