LIV Golf Hong Kong predictions
The Golfing Gazette writers have predicted the winner of LIV Golf Hong Kong this weekend:
Peter Lynch: It hasn’t been the best of starts to 2025 for Cam Smith, but he has still shown glimpses of his best, and I think his expert putting can guide him to the title this weekend.
Jordan Harris: Joaquin Niemann finished fourth in Hong Kong last year and has already won this season. The Chilean is being backed to get a second win under his belt early on in the year for the second season running.
Sam Stone: The course this week will reward the straightest hitters and they don’t come better than Sergio Garcia. Fresh off a T6 in Riyadh and T18 in Adelaide, the Spaniard could contend this week.
James Shearman: Tom McKibbin controversially joined LIV Golf in the offseason despite earning his PGA Tour card for 2025. The move has already been lucrative for the Northern Irishman after his T7 finish in Adelaide, but a win in Hong Kong would be a real exclamation point for his short career.
