Scottie Scheffler might be all about the grind and be solely focused on winning golf tournaments but when it comes down to it, he’s going to earn a big chunk of change in being so successful.
Scheffler won again at The Memorial to take home another large cheque – $4m – as he continued his fine form in 2025.
It means Scheffler has won more than $10m in the last 30 days as he continues to build a more than healthy bank balance alongside his collection of trophies.

With Scheffler continuing to win, he’s now at the point where he’s among the very biggest earners the game has ever seen, including a certain Tiger Woods.
But in terms of what Scheffler is earning per appearance compared to Woods, well, that’s another tale in itself.

How Scottie Scheffler’s earnings compare to Tiger Woods
To be clear, neither Scottie Scheffler nor Tiger Woods are going to be scrambling around the back of a sofa looking for loose change anytime soon.
Scheffler has now won $86m in prize money on the PGA Tour, while Woods accumulated over $120m, which is hugely impressive given the purses were lower compared to now.
In terms of what each appearance has made both players though, golf journalist Jason Sobel has shared a stat to show that right now, it is Scottie who leads the way.
To be making north of half a million dollars per career start is hugely impressive for Scheffler.
And come the end of his career, he’ll have surpassed Woods’ earnings – on course anyway – by some distance.
The highest earning golfers in PGA Tour history
There are so many variables involved in looking at the data for earnings, such as events played, the purses on offer, and the calibre of player in each event.
However, it’s always worth a quick glance and with Scheffler now adding another $4m to his bank account, it’s definitely interesting reading.
| Player | Money earned on the PGA Tour |
| Tiger Woods | $120,999,166 |
| Rory McIlroy | $107,981,766 |
| Scottie Scheffler | $99,453,136 |
| Justin Rose | $73,736,017 |
| Jim Furyk | $71,507,269 |
| Vijay Singh | $71,281,216 |
| Justin Thomas | $70,601,520 |
| Adam Scott | $69,759,328 |
| Jordan Spieth | $65,901,630 |
| Jason Day | $64,808,524 |
As we can see, Scheffler is on course to break that $100m barrier soon enough and while he doesn’t come across as someone who’s in it for the cash, it’s still an impressive stat.
In time, we’ll likely see others break that barrier, simply because purses continue to increase.
