Keegan Bradley only has two weeks to decide which players will make the United States team for the 2025 Ryder Cup.
After the BMW Championship concludes on August 17, the top six players in the USA qualification standings will automatically make the squad.
Bradley will then select six captain’s picks, which will likely include Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa, Ben Griffin, and even himself.
The 11th and 12th men on the USA team for Bethpage are still up for debate, with Chris Gotterup and Patrick Cantlay in the mix.

Bad news for Chris Gotterup and Patrick Cantlay before the Ryder Cup
So many players still have the chance to take the final spots on the USA Ryder Cup team, but Gotterup and Cantlay are considered two of the more likely.
Gotterup beat Rory McIlroy to win the Scottish Open last month and followed it up with a third-place finish at The Open Championship.
The 26-year-old is only just in the top 20 in the qualification standings, but he’s in better form than most players, and his big-hitting game suits Bethpage Black.
Cantlay is in a completely different situation. He has only played one event since June (The Open) and missed the cut.
The argument for him to make the team is that he has an excellent 5-2-1 record at the last two Ryder Cups and plays well alongside Xander Schauffele.
However, both players’ chances lessened at the Wyndham Championship last weekend due to Cameron Young’s incredible victory.
Young was already on the fringes of the Ryder Cup debate, so he could now be at the forefront of Bradley’s plans after his six-stroke victory at Sedgefield Country Club.

Dan Rapaport would pick Chris Gotterup over Patrick Cantlay for USA
While Maverick McNealy, Brian Harman, and Jordan Spieth are all also in contention, it could come down to two of Gotterup, Cantlay, and Young for the final spots on the USA team.
High-profile golf journalist Dan Rapaport recently explained that he would pick Gotterup over Cantlay if he were Bradley.
“My last spot for the Americans if the Ryder Cup was tomorrow is Chris Gotterup,” he said after The Open at Royal Portrush.
“The guy won the Scottish Open, finished in the top five in The Open Championship, he’s got youthful energy, he hits it a long way, and he’s from the Tri-State area.
“It just feels like, you know, I don’t have Patrick Cantlay on this team. If it were tomorrow, I would go with Gotterup.”
