The Charles Schwab Challenge is up next! The Golfing Gazette provides everything you need to know about the PGA Tour event.

Scottie Scheffler won the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow last weekend, having won the CJ Cup Byron Nelson two weeks before, so he’s the heavy favorite to win this tournament.

But there are plenty of other top players in the field hoping to stop the world number one from winning three events in a row.

Here is all the important information about the Charles Schwab Challenge, from how to watch to prize money.

Which players are in the Charles Schwab Challenge field?

Between the PGA Championship and the Memorial Tournament, one would expect the field for the Charles Schwab Challenge to be significantly weaker.

The good news is that it’s a convenient event for some of the PGA Tour’s biggest names, like Scottie Scheffler and Jordan Spieth, who live in Texas.

Fellow stars Tommy Fleetwood, Hideki Matsuyama, and former champion Daniel Berger will also tee it up at Colonial Country Club.

How to watch the Charles Schwab Challenge

What is the Charles Schwab Challenge prize money?

This week’s prize money at the Charles Schwab Challenge is $9.5 million. Here is what the top five in the leaderboard will earn:

Charles Schwab Challenge picks

The Golfing Gazette writers have predicted which player will win the Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial Country Club:

Jordan Harris: Given his victory at the RBC Heritage after winning The Masters last year, his eight-shot triumph at TPC Craig Ranch, and the strength of the field this week, it is impossible to look past Scheffler following his PGA Championship with another win here. The man does not do complacency.

James Shearman: Maverick McNealy won his first PGA Tour event at the RSM Classic last November, and he’s also been in good form in 2025. The 29-year-old has three top-five finishes (Genesis Invitational, Valero Texas Open, and RBC Heritage), so he might be the man to beat Scheffler.

Peter Lynch: All that everyone in the field, except for Scheffler, can hope for is that the world number one will still be celebrating his PGA Championship success, because he really looks in the mood right now. I really think that could be the case, and I can see Aaron Rai improving upon his T19 finish at Quail Hollow with a win this week.
