Bryson DeChambeau is currently focusing most of his efforts on LIV Golf Virginia, but he will also have one eye on the US Open.
DeChambeau takes on LIV Golf Virginia this week, with Robert Trent Jones Golf Club playing host to the latest event in the calendar.
But it is closely followed by the US Open at Oakmont, with DeChambeau having won the major championship last year.
The LIV Golf star edged out Rory McIlroy at Pinehurst last time out, securing his second US Open title and second career major championship win.
And he has already scouted the venue for the upcoming tournament, with DeChambeau shooting a level-par 70 at Oakmont in a recent practice round, which he shared on his YouTube channel.

Bryson DeChambeau deserves major praise for unprecedented move before US Open
And not only did it provide himself and fans with an idea of his current level as the major approaches, but it has also done the golfing world a massive favour.
He is by no means loved by every golf fan, particularly after he left the PGA Tour for LIV Golf, but DeChambeau has just provided never-before-seen insight, which deserves huge praise.

The divisive figure really has taken golfing social media to a whole new level with his entertaining and innovative exploits, the latest of which involves an in-depth preview of Oakmont.
The iconic venue looks certain to play host to one of the most difficult major championships in recent memory, with DeChambeau’s insight not likely to be repeated to such a level during the actual tournament.
Fans crave such insight, in which the LIV Golf player shared his score and perhaps more importantly key areas of the course, such as the thick rough that is set to provide a huge challenge.
Bryson DeChambeau steps up for fans amid Rory McIlroy criticism
DeChambeau showing his practice round in such depth was not only fascinating, but it comes at a time when his fellow professionals are failing to fulfil even the basic needs of the golfing world.
Fans and indeed media were denied insight into Rory McIlroy’s findings at the PGA Championship, with The Masters champion having failed to speak after all four of his rounds at Quail Hollow.

McIlroy was criticised for refusing to speak to the media, with his close friend Shane Lowry another to have declined such duties in recent times.
Their fellow PGA Tour player Collin Morikawa has done the same this season, all the while DeChambeau is really delivering for those who love the sport, and perhaps even those who are only just getting into it.
It remains to be seen when, or indeed if, the PGA Tour and LIV Golf come together, but one certainty is that fans should be praising DeChambeau and his efforts on social media.
His efforts on the course meanwhile shouldn’t go unnoticed, with the Crushers GC captain behind only Joaquin Niemann in the LIV Golf individual standings.
Such form has also been evident in the major championships this season, where he posted T5 and T2 finishes at The Masters and the PGA Championship respectively.
That should provide him with confidence going into Oakmont, which he labelled ‘one of the hardest golf courses in the entire world’ in his practice round.
The 7,400-plus par 70 layout should, however, play into his hands, although he will be eager to improve upon his five birdies, five bogeys and eight pars from his trial run in Pennsylvania.
