Min Woo Lee has confirmed he will continue his PGA Tour career in 2026 after opting against a move to LIV Golf.
Lee was a potential LIV Golf candidate for the new season, but the Australian has just shut down the rumours of a potential move.
A one-time champion on the PGA Tour, Lee is not joining LIV Golf, and will make a return to the former next season.
The 27-year-old claimed his only career win at this season’s Texas Children’s Houston Open at Memorial Park Golf Course.
Lee emerged victorious at the PGA Tour in March with a score of 20-under, one ahead of both Scottie Scheffler and Gary Woodland.

Min Woo Lee deserves big praise for rejecting LIV Golf move
Further success is now on the cards for the one-time PGA Tour winner, who certainly deserves praise for his decision not to join LIV Golf.
First and foremost, the obvious financial gains would have been a real incentive for Lee to waste no time in accepting any offer from the Saudi-backed tour.
For example, Jon Rahm earned $31.61million on LIV Golf in the 2025 season, in which the Spaniard successfully defended his title.
That is, of course, in addition to the huge deal he signed with LIV Golf upon joining from the PGA Tour in early 2024.

Secondly, LIV Golf has just switched to 72 holes, which should increase the tour’s credibility going forward and thus its ability to bring in top talent.
Moreover, LIV Golf could earn Official World Golf Ranking points with that format change, which again is another reason why it could recruit world-class talent like Lee.
Finally, there is also a very strong Australian contingent on LIV Golf right now, which could have helped Lee feel right at home from the outset.
Ripper GC stars Marc Leishman, Lucas Herbert, Matt Jones and captain-fantastic Cameron Smith are all Australian, while LIV Golf Adelaide is one of the first events in the 2026 schedule.
Min Woo Lee’s entire PGA Tour history as first title secured in 2025
Lee finally got over the line on his 56th PGA Tour start, with the win helping him rise to 22nd in the OWGR.
The 38th Australian to win on the PGA Tour, it marked his first time inside the top 25, although the Australian has since dropped to 46th.
| Starts | 68 |
| Wins | 1 |
| Cuts made | 46/68 |
| Runner-up | 2 |
| Top 5s | 4 |
| Top 10s | 8 |

He is, however, still the highest-ranked Australian in the OWGR, sitting one spot ahead of former major champion Jason Day.
Lee now has 68 PGA Tour appearances to his name, from which he has one win, two runner-up finishes and four top five finishes.
