Xander Schauffele is among the top names vying to win The Masters this week when it gets underway on Thursday.
The quest to win the green jacket at Augusta National is set to be one of the most hotly contested in years.
A number of top players are in fine form, with Schauffele himself playing well. Scottie Scheffler is the favourite to win, while Rory McIlroy is once again coming into the tournament with pressure on his shoulders.
Of course, one of the other talking points is the return of LIV players, including current green jacket holder, Jon Rahm.
However, more top players from LIV are set to play at Augusta, including a few who have won the tournament before.
And when asked if there was anyone from the LIV Tour he misses in particular, Schauffele admitted it’s a former Masters winner he misses a lot.

Xander Schauffele reveals which LIV player he really misses playing with.
Speaking in his press conference before the tournament gets underway on Thursday, Schauffele was asked about any of the LIV guys who he misses being around.
And when pressed, he admitted he really misses playing alongside Dustin Johnson.
Q. Are there LIV guys that you miss seeing, and has any part of you thought about trying to arrange a practice round with ’em, just because you don’t see ’em very much?
“Playing with Dustin tomorrow,” Schauffele said.
Q. So that would be a yes, and Dustin.
“I mean, yeah, I think I’ve made it pretty obvious that Dustin is probably the one I miss the most. I got along with almost all those guys that left. I don’t know, didn’t know everyone that plays on the TOUR now, but most of the guys that played out here I played a ton with. It’s sort of, it’s like, this is my office. I love my job, but this is my office. And if someone leaves or quits or whatever, like, I just — I still come to work, and I still try my best and do what I can do. So whether I see someone I like or not doesn’t really affect my day that much.”
Could Dustin Johnson win The Masters again?
Picking a winner for The Masters is always hard, just because of the amount of talent involved.
There’s been plenty of talk about who might get over the line, with different pundits and golfers having their say recently.
Indeed, Shane Lowry has tipped Scottie Scheffler to take home the green jacket again.
Butch Harmon, meanwhile, has suggested Scheffler needs to handle the media pressure to succeed, while Sir Nick Faldo has suggested Rory McIlroy has a big issue to overcome if he wants to win it.
Whether or not Dustin Johnson can come in with enough form to make a charge, is open to debate.
However, he has won it before so has the knowhow, while he’s already won on the LIV Tour in 2024 as well.
As it stands, then, it looks like any of the top players could wind up taking it home this week.
