The Presidents Cup was a little tense this year for the first time in a while and Wyndham Clark has become the latest to chip in on the proceedings.
The opening few days were dominated by the Internationals and Team USA going back and forth with celebrations.
Tom Kim and Scottie Scheffler were at the forefront of proceedings on the opening day and Kim remained a fixture of controversy throughout the four days.

Of course, Kim and his partner, Si Woo Kim, caused controversy when they walked to the next tee as Scheffler was putting, while they also had a mini run-in with Wyndham Clark and Keegan Bradley.
However, Clark has admitted that while he and Bradley lost ‘fair and square’, he felt the celebrations were perhaps a touch dramatic.

Speaking to Golf Digest’s The Loop podcast, Clark commented on the issues with Kim and Si Woo, and admitted he felt some of it was a little forced.
“Earlier that morning [Keegan Bradley] and I played Tom and Si Woo. And we witnessed them making tons of putts on us and playing unbelievable and then obviously witnessed all of the celebrations that they were doing,” Clark said.
“And then just some of the other antics that maybe people weren’t seeing on TV, that obviously just kind of gets you to where you’re a little frustrated because some of it was extreme, in my opinion.
“Some of it seemed a little fabricated and so it almost didn’t seem authentic, especially for someone that’s usually pretty quiet, and so it almost seemed like they were trying to do something.
“So we could feel that. And so [Keegan] and I lost, they beat us fair and square. They played unbelievable.”
In the end, Team USA went on to romp clear and win with ease as the internationals ran out of steam.
However, ahead of the next tournament, the seeds have definitely been planted in terms of needle and for the tournament itself, it should be a good thing.
One thing is for sure as well, and that’s that Tom Kim will be front and centre of the Internationals once more.
