WM Phoenix Open predictions
The Golfing Gazette experts have made their predictions for the winner of this week’s WM Phoenix Open.
James Shearman: Jake Knapp is one of the most in-form players on the PGA Tour, finishing T11 at the Sony Open and T5 at last week’s Farmers Insurance Open. Knapp also ranks fifth on the Tour in strokes gained putting, and with birdies at a premium, he looks to have a strong chance in Phoenix.
Jordan Harris: It has been brilliant to see Sahith Theegala playing so well again. He is going to need to improve from tee to green, but two top fives in four starts here give me reason for optimism.
Charlie Walker: I’m going with Si Woo Kim to win in Phoenix! He’s been knocking on the door with excellent results to start 2026, and this week he’ll go one further than his T2 finish at Torrey Pines.
Antony Martin: I mean, Scottie will probably win, but it’s boring going for him. I’m torn between Cam Young and Chris Gotterup. Both bombers are capable of getting hot on the greens. I’m gonna go with Cam Young to pick up his second PGA Tour win.
Peter Lynch: I’m backing history to repeat itself and for Nick Taylor to emerge victorious here once again. It’s a big ask, but somebody has to upset the favorites!
