Adam Scott finished T30 at the Genesis Championship in South Korea this weekend.

It was Scott’s second event in Asia recently after playing in the PGA Tour’s Baycurrent Classic in Japan two weeks ago.

Including those two events, the Australian has endured a difficult end to the 2025 season, with no top 20s since the Scottish Open in July.

Still, he achieved a significant milestone with his latest performance at the Genesis Championship, despite not playing particularly well.

Adam Scott retains DP World Tour card at Genesis Championship

Adam Scott ranked 115th in the DP World Tour’s Race to Dubai before the Genesis Championship.

This was significant because the top 115 players in the standings after the event in Korea would retain their DP World Tour cards.

And with Jungwhan Lee climbing 244 places with his victory, as well as several other impressive performances, Scott was at risk of missing out.

He only narrowly made the cut after rounds of 74 (+3) and 67 (-4), keeping his hopes of retaining his card alive.

A 68 on Saturday then put him in an excellent position to stay in the top 115, as long as he did not falter on Sunday.

Scott went backwards in the Genesis Championship leaderboard on Sunday with a one-over-par 72, but it was still more than enough.

His 30th-place finish moved him up seven spots in the Race to Dubai to 108th and ensured that he can play on the DP World Tour next season.

When was Adam Scott’s last professional win?

Adam Scott has won 32 professional events, including 14 on the PGA Tour and 11 on the DP World Tour.

His most recent victory was at the 2023 Cathedral Invitational, but that event is only recognized in Australia.

Scott’s latest win on a well-known circuit came at the 2020 Genesis Invitational at Riviera Country Club.

Unfortunately, that was more than five years ago, and the former Masters Champion may not lift another trophy before he retires.

At 45 years old, Scott’s best golf is undoubtedly behind him, but he remains a top player on his day and will always be an icon.
