Collin Morikawa is in fine shape heading into the BMW Championship, with the American fourth in the FedExCup points list.
Morikawa has backed the current PGA Tour playoff rules, with the six-time winner having just finished T22 at the St Jude Championship.
He is behind compatriots Scottie Scheffler and Xander Schauffele in the standings, along with St Jude Championship winner Hideki Matsuyama.
Matsuyama clinched the title by two shots, ahead of Schauffele and 2023 FedExCup defending champion Viktor Hovland.
Morikawa loves playing with Hovland and Max Homa, with all three players having qualified for the BMW Championship in Colorado.

Collin Morikawa spotted on the range ahead of the BMW Championship
It comes next in the FedExCup Playoffs, with the top 30 players then heading to East Lake for the Tour Championship.
And Morikawa is doing his utmost to be in the best shape possible for the next event, with the American the first player on the range in Colorado ahead of the BMW Championship.
Can Collin Morikawa shock Scottie Scheffler and Xander Schauffele?
Morikawa may be slightly disappointed with his efforts at the St Jude Championship, having finished on six under.
He did, however, importantly finish strong, with his final round 67 his best round at TPC Southwind in Memphis.
But he clearly feels there is room for improvement ahead of the next FedExCup event, which takes place at Castle Pines Golf Club.
Scheffler and Schauffele are the players to catch, which could prove to be an impossible task given their superb seasons so far.
But stranger things have happened in golf, with defending champion Hovland proving at the St Jude Championship that anything is possible after he rose from 57th place to 16th place in the points list.
