Rory McIlroy and Bryson DeChambeau are all set to go head to head in the final round of The Masters on Sunday.
It was 10 months ago when Bryson DeChambeau got the better of Rory McIlroy at the US Open at Pinehurst.
Now the Irishman has a big chance to gain revenge on the American.
Rory McIlroy has been warned about the pressure that awaits him on Masters Sunday, and he will know only too well that he simply has to get this one over the line.

The Masters final round has the potential to go down in history as one of the most exciting events of all-time.
All eyes are on Augusta National as golfing fans the world over eagerly await 2:30 PM ET to see McIlroy and DeChambeau trade blows.
What Bryson DeChambeau said about Rory McIlroy after US Open ahead of Masters showdown
McIlroy will be desperate to win his fifth major title on Sunday.
If Bryson wins, he will move to within one of Rory’s tally of four Major Championships.
The 31-year-old American’s last major came at Pinehurst in 2024 when he lifted his second US Open crown.
Ahead of the final round at The Masters, it’s now very interesting to look back on what DeChambeau said about McIlroy after he pipped him to the US Open trophy 10 months ago (ASAP Sports):
“Yeah, I had to know. I mean, I had to know what I had to get done in that iron shot I hit on 17. I was trying to birdie that hole. 18, I was going to try and birdie the hole on 18, obviously, if I hit a good drive, but pulled it. But I knew where Rory was.
“After my tee shot, I was up there going, Man, if he makes par, I don’t know how I’m going to beat him. I just really didn’t know. Then I heard the moans. Like a shot of adrenaline got in me. I said, Okay, you can do this.

“So I was listening the whole entire time. Even on 13, when they were chanting “Rory” after he made birdie on 13, I knew I had to drive the green. I knew I had to make birdie on that hole.
“It was going to be tough. My driving wasn’t fantastic today. I got to go fix that, work on that. Man, I played some good golf even with the chanting. There was a lot of, “Go USA,” “go Europe.” It was quite a fun battle between us today.“
Rory McIlroy plans big change ahead of Bryson DeChambeau Masters showdown
McIlroy knows that if he has his best stuff on Sunday, he will win.
However, that doesn’t mean that he won’t make any tweaks heading into the final round.
McIlroy admitted last night that he plans to make one change on Masters Sunday:
“I think my iron play and approach play was really solid today. I drove the ball well with the driver. I hit a couple of squirly three woods. But if I can keep the ball striking the way it was. I feel like I left myself above the hole a lot, so I couldn’t be aggressive with some putts. So maybe just be a bit more aware of that, and try and leave myself below the hole a bit more tomorrow but overall a great day.“
Wise words indeed from Rory. There is no future around Augusta National when you miss on the short-side.
