The countdown to the 2025 Ryder Cup is on, and USA fans are up in arms after the ticket prices were announced.

Registration for the Bethpage Black event is open, and fans are looking to reserve their place at golf’s most revered matchplay battle.

Unfortunately, exorbitant prices are set to rule out many from making the trip to Long Island.

And US Ryder Cup fans haven’t taken the news well.

Keegan Bradley anticipated an electric atmosphere at Bethpage; however, many fans have suggested the “insane” pricing could impact the New York crowds.

Kevin Van Valkenburg wrote: “I would like to go on the record now and say that if Europe wins the Ryder Cup at Bethpage because the crowds were turned into a polite snooze fest like LACC by the insane ticket prices, it’s going to go down as a massive own goal.”

Kevin Clark sarcastically added: “It’s not clear: Do I get to play the full 18 or just 9 for the Americans for those prices?”

Brendan Porath said: “This is gross and bad. Nothing more needs to be discussed. Anyone trying to rationalize it or explain to you how markets work is a BS artist. It betrays the nature of the host place and undercuts the event. The Ryder Cup’s corporate and other rights partners should decry it.”

Finally, Lou Stagner said“$750 for Ryder Cup tickets at Bethpage is just ridiculous. It’s a swing and a miss.”

2025 Ryder Cup ticket prices revealed as fans outrage

Currently, fans can pick up a practice day ticket for $255 and a Thursday ticket for $423, which includes the Junior Ryder Cup and Opening Ceremony.

However, prices boom on the weekend. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday tickets are individually priced at $749.51.

Given the excessive prices, the average fan will probably have to watch the Ryder Cup from home.

Furthermore, it’s important to remember players aren’t paid to participate in the Ryder Cup, so someone, somewhere, is making a significant profit from golf’s flagship event.
