Bryson DeChambeau’s latest Break 50 YouTube challenge saw him team up with NFL royalty Tom Brady.

The LIV Golf star left fans guessing earlier this week after revealing an all-time great would be joining him for the last episode of the Break 50 season.

Well, avid golfer Brady was selected to close the season and follow in the footsteps of Tony Romo, John Daly and, famously, President-elect Donald Trump.

Of course, DeChambeau’s videos involve much more than just attempting to shoot 49 from the front tees. The 31-year-old engages with his guests, and often, interesting discourse occurs.

Unsurprisingly, NFL talk emerged during the video, and Brady revealed which team would best suit DeChambeau if the 2024 US Open champion was an American footballer.

“If he did play for an NFL team, it would be the Raiders, you know why? Because Al Davis, one of the Mount Rushmore characters in the NFL, he loved going deep, he loved the bomb,” Brady said.

“He loved going downfield. He wanted vertical passing, and that’s what he does in his golf game.”

Tom Brady golf handicap revealed

Brady has long been a keen golfer and often tees it up at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am each year. Before this year’s event at Pebble, the PGA Tour revealed amateurs’ handicaps, including Brady’s.

The NFL legend is currently an eight handicap, and Brady played at The RSM Classic Pro-Am last weekend, which proceeded to the final PGA Tour event of 2024.

Furthermore, in June 2022, Brady travelled to Augusta National to play the course alongside Rory McIlroy and both their fathers. Brady, however, unlike some former NFL players, isn’t a member of the lucrative Masters venue.
