The USA already have an advantage over Europe ahead of the Ryder Cup even starting, with the home fans certain to give the hosts a much-needed boost this week.
American Ryder Cup fans have been quiet in the build-up to the tournament, a situation which may just worry Keegan Bradley ahead of the first tee shot.
But the atmosphere should change as the competition gets underway, with the USA’s secret weapon Bryson DeChambeau the likely conductor of the home faithful.
He has already proven hugely popular at Bethpage Black, with captain Keegan Bradley certain to rely heavily on such status to help his side get over the line.
There are, however, a handful of players who could perhaps go the other way with the fans in New York and struggle to deal with the expected raucous Ryder Cup atmosphere.

Tyrrell Hatton
European ace Tyrrell Hatton is certain to be targeted by many American fans at Bethpage, who will be all too familiar with his regular outbursts.
Hatton has let his emotions get the better of him on plenty of occasions, and the crowd may jump on any frustration he experiences in New York.
Robert MacIntyre
Hatton’s European teammate Robert MacIntyre is another who wears his heart on his sleeve, with his struggles often leading to club smashes or similar vents of frustration.
The Scot has also had his run-ins with fans, notably while playing with Scottie Scheffler at the recent BMW Championship, but he may be better off letting his golf do the talking, which he has certainly done this season.
Russell Henley
While Russell Henley is playing on home soil in front of his own fans, he is making his Ryder Cup debut, which is set to be a daunting task.
Whether he can deal with the pressure remains to be seen, but a lack of experience in front of such an expectant crowd could prove difficult for the American.
Three players who could thrive in raucous Ryder Cup atmosphere
There are, of course, many players across both teams who should be more than capable of dealing with the noise, namely DeChambeau.
The LIV Golf star is well-used to attracting plenty of attention, and he has more often than not stepped up to the occasion when all eyes are on him.
The same can be said of his United States teammate Scottie Scheffler, who plainly seems to be able to deal with whatever is thrown at him on the course.
That includes rowdy fans, with the world number one likely to continue his stunning season by thriving amid the noise this week.
And even though he is playing away from home, European star Rory McIlroy has won American fans over with his displays over the years, having enjoyed another superb season on the PGA Tour.
He’s definitely a man for the big occasion, and should be able to quieten any noise around him with a customary world-class shot, which may even draw the applause it so often does.
