The evergreen Bernhard Langer continued to show his class this weekend as he and son Jason saw off Tiger and Charlie Woods in a thrilling playoff at the PNC Championship.

Langer was the main man as he holed a fine putt on the playoff hole to win the event for the second year running and ensure his fine form since moving onto the Champions Tour continued.

Of course, there were some questions from fans over Langer being able to use the front tees. However, it was still a masterclass in golf from the 67-year-old.

For Langer, winning at the PNC Championship caps off another fine year for him on the Champions Tour.

Langer has been a dominant force on that tour since making the move and he holds the record for Champions Tour wins, with 47, albeit he won just once in 2024.

Still, Langer is showing the way for the older golfers in the game and when it comes to earning money, the German is very much proving there is life beyond the PGA Tour and LIV Golf.

How much money Bernhard Langer has earned on the Champions Tour

While the prize money on the Champions Tour isn’t as much as the PGA Tour, if you are winning 47 events then you are going to be racking up the millions pretty quickly.

Indeed, in a stat shared by golf journalist Jamie Kennedy, it’s revealed that Langer has now made more on the Champions Tour than a number of high profile names have made on the PGA Tour.

Of course, the likes of Stenson, DeChambeau and Casey have since moved to the LIV Tour, meaning their earnings will likely outweigh Langer at this point.

Who are the highest earners on the Champions Tour?

When it comes to Champions Tour earnings, Bernhard Langer is far and away out on his own at the front ahead of Hale Irwin, who is more than $10m behind in second.

And when it comes to those further down the list, Langer is a whopping $17m ahead of third place, and $24m ahead of the player in tenth, Jim Thorpe.

PlayerPGA Champions Tour career earnings ($)
Bernhard Langer $37,383,505
Hale Irwin$27,158,515
Gil Morgan$20,631, 930
Jay Haas$19,993,558
Tom Kite $16,303,747

It goes without saying, then, that Langer is showing those still in their prime that their careers don’t need to stop when they’re no longer on the PGA Tour.

In fact, Langer has proven there’s millions to be made.
