The Masters leaderboard cut line

The top 50 players (plus ties) after 36 holes make the cut at The Masters. The cut line this year is two over par, meaning that no one at three over or more will play this weekend.

Some of the high-profile names to miss out include legends Bernhard Langer (+3) and Fred Couples (+3) and LIV Golf stars Brooks Koepka (+5), Sergio Garcia (+4) and Cam Smith (+5).

The Masters 3rd round tee times

The Masters third round key storylines

Rose (-8) still leads the tournament, but his advantage has been cut from three shots down to one, with DeChambeau (-7) close behind him.

The story of the day was always going to be how McIlroy (-6) reacted to his nightmare last few holes on Thursday, and his response was world-class. He got an excellent 66 to put himself in contention.

It wasn’t an easy day for Scheffler (-5), who shot a steady 71 to keep himself in the picture without making the impression that many thought he would.
