The PGA Tour returns this week with the Genesis Invitational, without tournament host Tiger Woods but with world number three Rory McIlroy.
Scottie Scheffler will take on Torrey Pines South once more, with the Genesis Invitational having been moved from Riviera Country Club this year due to the recent wildfires.
Woods first appeared on the PGA Tour at the event in 1992 at Riviera, when it was known as the Nissan Open.
Legendary 15-time major champion Woods has, however, withdrawn from the latest event on the PGA Tour, but Scheffler and McIlroy headline a star-studded field.
McIlroy won the AT&T Pebble Beach on his first start of the season, with a second appearance now incoming at the Genesis Invitational.

Rory McIlroy boasts highest PGA Tour win percentage since 2010
The victory represented his first at Pebble Beach but 27th PGA Tour title, with Woods joint-top of the all-time list.
Woods and Sam Snead both have 82 wins to their names, but it is McIlroy who has the highest win percentage on the PGA Tour since 2010.
Among the players to have made a minimum 100 starts, McIlroy tops the pile with a figure of 10.98%, as per the PGA Tour.
Scheffler is a close second with 9.92%, with Woods currently in third place with a win percentage of 8.80%.
And Justin Thomas and Viktor Hovland are fourth and fifth respectively, with totals of 6.20% and 5.17% respectively.
How Rory McIlroy has performed at Torrey Pines South ahead of Genesis Invitational
It is truly a remarkable feat from McIlroy, who certainly hasn’t always been at his best in recent times, but is a formidable figure when he is.
As proven at Pebble Beach earlier in the season, the Northern Irishman is essentially unstoppable on his day.
McIlroy enters the Genesis Invitational in such form, but like Woods, the title has evaded him over the years.
Previous champions include Phil Mickelson and Jon Rahm, with Hideki Matsuyama lifting the trophy in 2024.
He is at Torrey Pines this week in a bid to defend his title, and unlike McIlroy has the advantage of having just played at the venue at last month’s Farmers Insurance Open.
But McIlroy will be eager to continue his superb momentum, particularly as he looks to clinch an elusive fifth major title.
And the Northern Irishman shouldn’t be too worried about the challenge that lies ahead this week given his stellar record on the South Course, where his worst finish is T16.
