TGL is now well underway, but has now reached its most anticipated week given the presence of Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy.
The average age of a TGL viewer is 51, with the joint-venture from Woods and McIlroy now approaching its fourth week.
Eddie Pepperell thinks TGL needs a ‘close match’ to really take off, with Atlanta Drive GC’s recent 4-0 win over New York Golf Club continuing the trend of heavy defeats.
New York were hammered 9-2 by The Bay Golf Club on TGL opening night, with Los Angeles Golf Club then beating Jupiter Links GC 12-1.
Woods and McIlroy now go head-to-head at the SoFi Center in Florida, with the former’s Jupiter Links side taking on the latter’s Boston Common Golf team.

Rory McIlroy set for Tiger Woods face-off on TGL debut
The figures certainly don’t read well for New York in particular, with Xander Schauffele, Matt Fitzpatrick, Rickie Fowler and Cameron Young definitely needing to improve on the greens sooner rather than later.
All eyes now shift to Woods and McIlroy, who take to the tee first for their respective teams at the event that combines hybrid and real-life play.
