Wyndham Clark displayed some really poor behaviour at the PGA Championship last week.
And now his sponsors – T-Mobile – have released a statement on social media in response to his actions.
Clark has endured a difficult 2025 season so far on the PGA Tour, with only one top-10 to his name in 13 events played.
Things have got worse and worse for the 31-year-old over recent weeks.
The 31-year-old caused somewhat of a furore during the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow last week.

Clark petulantly threw his club into a T-Mobile advertising board behind the 16th tee, after a poor tee-shot, and he was forced to apologise on X after his lapse in standards.
Now, Clark’s sponsors have responded to him in kind.
T-Mobile release statement in response to Wyndham Clark’s behaviour
The 2023 US Open champion was clearly hugely frustrated at Quail Hollow last week, just like he has been for the majority of the 2025 season.
However, that doesn’t condone his behaviour on the 16th tee on Sunday. It was extremely poor from him, and a terrible example to set for any young children who would have been watching.

After the event, Clark said, ““I would like to sincerely apologize for my behaviour yesterday on hole 16. As professionals, we are expected to remain professional, even when frustrated, and I unfortunately let my emotions get the best of me. My actions were uncalled for and completely inappropriate, making it clear I have things I need to work on. I hold myself to a high standard, trying always to play for something bigger than myself, and yesterday I fell short of those standards. For that I am truly sorry. I promise to better the way I handle my frustrations on the course going forward, and hope you all can forgive me in due time.“
And now, T-Mobile have responded to the 31-year-old’s apology.
“You’ve got our support, Wyndham! and the good news is that our 5G network is ready for almost anything – even if our signs aren’t.“
Wyndham Clark’s 2025 PGA Tour stats
Clark has been miles off the levels required to win this season.
His game is well below where it was in 2023 and even last year.
| PGA Tour stats | Rank |
| Strokes gained total | 71st |
| Strokes gained off the tee | 90th |
| Strokes gained approach to green | 128th |
| Strokes gained putting | 79th |
Clark will be determined to get back to his best as soon as possible, and in order to do that, he will need to put in the hard yards on the practice field.
And it has to be said, perhaps a moment of self-reflection is required for the one-time major champion as well.
