After the excitement this past weekend of the BMW PGA and the LIV Dallas team event, attentions are now turning to the Presidents Cup this week over in Montreal.
Team USA go into the event as overwhelming favourites but the Internationals have some fine players as well, with the likes of Hideki Matsuyama and the experienced Adam Scott leading the charge.
For Team USA, it’s all going to be about the right picks and pairings from captain Jim Furyk.
As we know, one of his late picks was next year’s Ryder Cup captain, Keegan Bradley.
Bradley has played himself into form in the last few months and will be a key player for the USA as they try to win out in Canada.
And according to Smylie Kaufman, Bradley should be paired with a former major winner to get the best out of him.

Smylie Kaufman wants Keegan Bradley and Brian Harman pairing at the Presidents Cup
Speaking on his latest episode of The Smylie Show, Kaufman was discussing the actual pairings for the week ahead.
And getting onto Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley, Kaufman has suggested he link up with former Open winner, Brian Harman.
“I love that pairing! I love Keegan Bradley and Brian Harman together even though Max Homa and Brian Harman seem to be kind of a thing,” Kaufman said.
“I’m all in there. Keegan didn’t know if he was going to be in any more of these teams. We felt pretty comfortable he would be on this team. I was like ‘you know Keegan, when you play match-play you get a little psycho’. He was like it’s a bit of a problem!
“I want to see him with someone who can match this I don’t know who you are, why are you shaking my hand kind of energy, and Brian can match that.”
Harman has had criticism in the past for what some see is a slow style of play.
He’s not had the greatest of years either in 2024 but on his day, is one of the best players on the PGA Tour when he puts it all together.
Harman and Bradley, then, could well be a brilliant pairing for Team USA in what is another big week of golf.
