Sergio Garcia ended his LIV Golf season alongside Phil Mickelson and Bryson DeChambeau at Maridoe Golf Club in Dallas.

Garcia’s Fireballs GC faced eventual winners Ripper GC in the semi-finals before finishing sixth overall after Sunday’s stroke play.

On a personal note, it’s been a positive season for the Spaniard. Garcia claimed his first LIV Golf win in Andalucia and finished third in the individual standings after placing second in Chicago.

Now, after the LIV Golf season ended in Dallas, Garcia has posted on X after his final round alongside DeChambeau and Mickelson.

Garcia took to social media and posted a message admitting he “sent it” on his way to a six-under round.

“Great day yesterday, last day of our season for @livgolf_league – played with Phil, Louis and Bryson yesterday and sent it, finishing 6 under,” Garcia wrote.

“No strategy just really fought and pushed the team to try hard and not give up. Until next season, vamos!”

LIV Golf move appears to be paying off for Sergio Garcia

Garcia’s 2024 season marks his best finish since he moved to LIV two years ago. The Spaniard looked back to somewhere near his best and was a threat to the likes of Jon Rahm and Joaquin Niemann this year.

As the off-season begins and 2025 rolls around, Garcia will be looking to improve his major championship form. The Spaniard’s LIV displays indicate that he’s more than capable of competing for a second major title.

Garcia will be delighted with the PGA Championship’s decision to allow LIV players to return after he missed the 2024 edition at Valhalla.

The Spaniard will hope the R&A will make a similar move with The Open after the 44-year-old failed to qualify for the event at Royal Troon in July.
