What else is left to say about Scottie Scheffler’s quality, after he recorded his 18th PGA Tour win at the BMW Championship?
Scheffler is in a class of his own on the PGA Tour right now, and his win at the BMW Championship cemented his place as the world’s best golfer.
Now, the 29-year-old is in the same company as three of the greatest golfers of all-time – 18-time major champion Jack Nicklaus, the irrepressible Tiger Woods and ‘The King’ Arnold Palmer.
Scheffler has more bogey-free rounds than anyone else on the PGA Tour since 2021, and that stat symbolizes everything that is good about the world number one.
The man from Dallas, Texas, now has 18 PGA Tour wins, four major championships, two Hero World Challenge titles and an Olympic Gold Medal to his name since February 2022.
Scheffler has, remarkably, reached a new level entirely on the PGA Tour this season, with his improved putting making him unplayable at times.
The worrying thing for his rivals is that it doesn’t seem like he will slow down any time soon.
Scottie Scheffler equals incredible record after winning the BMW Championship
Scheffler never ceases to amaze.

We all know how good he is, but it seems like he produces even more brilliance every single week.
Scheffler’s hole-out on the 17th hole was special – Tiger-like if you will.
And now he is keeping company with the great man, as well as Palmer and Nicklaus.
Scheffler has now become only the fourth man in the modern era to win 12 PGA Tour events or more and at least three majors during a two-season span.
The fact that he’s now sitting alongside Nicklaus, Woods and Palmer tells us all we need to know about his quality.
Scottie Scheffler’s career record on the PGA Tour
Scheffler has been the standout player on the PGA Tour over the past three years.
Here are his career numbers, and they make for mightily impressive reading:
| Results | Scheffler’s totals |
| Events played | 148 |
| Major wins | 4 |
| Wins | 18 |
| Top-5s | 54 |
| Top-10s | 74 |
| Missed cuts | 19 |
If Scheffler can maintain the levels he has shown since 2022 for the next decade, he will have a chance of matching the major haul achieved by Nicklaus, and Woods’ record PGA Tour win tally.
The 29-year-old is incredibly consistent, but he has the flair needed to pull off exceptional shots at just the right tie as well.
Scheffler’s win at the BMW Championship proved that he has absolutely no intention of slowing down.
