Scottie Scheffler has just continued his stunning season so far with yet another win, this time at the Travelers Championship.
The American now has six wins this season, becoming the quickest golfer to achieve the feat since Arnold Palmer in 1962.
Since 1983, legendary figures Tiger Woods, Vijay Singh and Nick Price have also won at least six times in a season, but Scheffler is the quickest to the milestone.
He was, however, certainly made to work hard for his latest victory, having been pushed all the way by Tom Kim.
The duo both finished on 22-under at TPC River Highlands in Connecticut, with Scheffler defeating Kim in a playoff.

The latter had led since his opening round 62, but could do very little about the former’s charge to the top, with Kim even revealing that he doesn’t worry about competing with Scheffler given that he knows the world number one is always going to be playing well.
Scheffler has now shared his plans for the near future after his Travelers success, with the final major of the season rapidly approaching.
“Yeah, I’m playing The Open, the Olympics and then the last three playoff events, then I think I should be on the Presidents Cup team and then I’ll take a break,” Scheffler said in his Travelers winning press conference.
How many more trophies can Scottie Scheffler win this season?
Kim garnered huge praise from Scheffler following their playoff battle, but the world number one is clearly already moving on from the glory and looking ahead to future events.
The Open at Royal Troon Golf Club gets underway next month, quickly followed by the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Another signature event Scheffler plans to compete in is the Presidents Cup in September, but there is also the small matter of the FedExCup to consider.
The season-long competition culminates in the FedExCup Playoffs, where the top 70 players will compete at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, BMW Championship and TOUR Championship.
The tournaments feature a progressive cut with fields of 70, 50 and 30 respectively to determine the FedExCup Champion.
Scheffler is undoubtedly in with a great chance of at least one more victory this season, with his first trophy coming at the Arnold Palmer Invitational back in March, quickly followed by the Players Championship.
They were backed up by successes at the Masters and RBC Heritage in April, with Scheffler clinching his fifth trophy at the Memorial Tournament earlier this month.
