Rory McIlroy will tee it up at Philadelphia Cricket Club for the Truist Championship this week, as he looks to win his second Signature Event of the season.
McIlroy has been in sensational form in 2025, with three wins to his name already.
The tournaments that he has won have been the biggest and the best as well, with his victories coming at Pebble Beach, The Players Championship and most recently, The Masters.
McIlroy credited his improved mental strength for his win at The Masters, but it is his driving that has seen him separate himself from everyone aside from Scottie Scheffler this season.
Scheffler will not be at the Truist Championship this week, so McIlroy will certainly fancy his chances.

If he drives the ball as well as he usually does, he should have no problem making it four wins in the 2025 season.
Rory McIlroy makes claim about Philadelphia Cricket Club ahead of the Truist Championship
McIlroy addressed the media on Wednesday morning, after playing a nine-hole pro-am at Philadelphia Cricket Club.
The Northern Irishman seemed to be in fine spirits ahead of the Truist Championship.
And he responded when asked what his strategy for the week in Philadelphia will be.
McIlroy said, “This stage of my career, it’s cool to come to new venues. New golf courses and new things, so, you know, it’s been nice to play this golf course.
“I’ve heard a lot about this golf course, and, you know, to play it over the last couple days has has been cool, you know, trying to learn. You know, a little bit about it and try to, you know, come up with a strategy to play it. So, yeah, good to be here .
“You know, first week as, I guess, as an individual coming back, I’m playing, you know, over the last few weeks. So I’m I’m excited to get back to being a golfer. It’s nice to get back into the routine again, and, you know, get back to, you know, to what I know how to do.

“Yeah, um, so I played the back nine yesterday. I played the front nine today. It’s, you know, it’s very similar to a lot of these old school courses that have been renovated over the past few years. You know, a lot of trees have been taken out, you know, the green complexes are the For me, the interesting thing about the golf course. It sort of, to me, feels like a smaller version of Oak Hill. Not a lot of strategy off the tee, you know, because there’s no you know, there’s no real hazards.
“There’s some fairway bunkers, but, you know, if you avoid those, you know, the rough’s not that long, that it’s not a huge penalty, so , you know, a little, I don’t know, simple off the tee, I guess, is the best way to describe it, but then, you know, making sure with a second shot that you’re below the hole and trying to get to learn the greens a little bit more, so, yeah, sort of, yeah, a mini sort of smaller, shorter version of Oak Hill.“
