Rory McIlroy played alongside Keegan Bradley in the opening round of the Travelers Championship on Thursday.
Both McIlroy and Bradley carded opening rounds of six-under par 64 at TPC River Highlands on day one, and they trail the leader, Austin Eckroat, by two shots.
Bradley shared his delight at McIlroy winning The Masters back in April, and the two players get on really well both on and off the course.
However, they will be fierce rivals at Bethpage Black when the Ryder Cup begins in late September.

McIlroy will be part of team Europe who are looking to defend the Ryder Cup and bring the trophy back across the Atlantic.
Meanwhile, Bradley is set to captain Team USA as they look to wrestle the trophy back from the Europeans.
Rory McIlroy shares the ‘cool’ chant he heard aimed at Keegan Bradley
There was plenty of attention outside of the ropes at TPC River Highlands on day one, as well as inside them.
NFL journalist Adam Schefter followed McIlroy and Bradley around TPC River Highlands on Thursday.
And the Northern Irishman responded when asked if there were plenty of shouts for Schefter from the crowds.

He said, “Not really. Obviously there was a few shouts for him out there, but no, there was definitely a lot more “Captain America” and “USA” chants out there, which is cool. It’s cool for Keegan to be here, be the U.S. Ryder Cup captain and obviously get all that support.“
Bradley is a really popular figure in New England, so it’s little wonder as to why he has so much support in Cromwell, Connecticut.
Could Keegan Bradley play on his own Ryder Cup team?
Bradley has been playing exceptionally well this season.
He is currently sitting in 17th spot in the U.S. Ryder Cup team standings, and a win or a couple of top fives would vault him right into contention.
However, what would actually happen if he qualified for his own team?
The general consensus is that Bradley would play and hand over the captaincy to his vice-captain Jim Furyk.
Bradley has insisted that he hasn’t yet made up his mind as to whether or not he will play in the Ryder Cup, if he does indeed qualify.
