Rory McIlroy continues his superb season this week on the DP World Tour, taking on the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship.
McIlroy is partnered with Marco Penge and Tyrrell Hatton for rounds one and two of the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, which is now underway at Yas Links.
He enters the DP World Tour event sitting top of the Race to Dubai rankings, closely followed by Penge and Hatton in second and third respectively.
It arrives not long after McIlroy won an away Ryder Cup with Team Europe, which followed his stunning season on the PGA Tour.
His success involved winning the Masters and the Players Championship, while he also clinched a dream win at the Irish Open on the DP World Tour.

Rory McIlroy rates his season out of 10 and states the event he wishes he won
The Northern Irish star has now offered his perspective on another campaign, having been asked on Sky Sports Golf to rate his latest season out of 10.
McIlroy responded: “10 out of 10. It would have been nice to win The Open at Portrush but I can’t be greedy.
“Winning The Masters, winning an away Ryder Cup, winning my home open, winning the Players. It’s a 10.”
There was no magical victory at The Open Championship on home soil as Scottie Scheffler lifted the Claret Jug, but the fan favorite still impressed with a T7 finish.
Elsewhere in his major season, his green jacket glory was accompanied by T47 and T19 finishes at the PGA Championship and US Open respectively.
How much golf Rory McIlroy played during his time off
McIlroy can hold his head extremely high after another stunning season, during which he claimed three wins on the PGA Tour.
He also completed the career grand slam by winning The Masters, before helping Team Europe win the Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black.
The Northern Irishman recently returned to the DP World Tour for last month’s DP World India Championship, before taking a well-earned rest at home.
Sharing insight into his recent activities, the five-time major champion said: “I spent three days in Northern Ireland, which was lovely, and then I got back to Florida and I have been grinding away. I have been practicing pretty much for the last 10 days coming into here.
“I know I am not going to have it all my own way the next couple of weeks, but I am motivated to try and win another Race to Dubai, so I knew I needed to come into these two weeks feeling ready and hopefully that practice over the last 10 days pays off.”
McIlroy will be out to defend his DP World Tour Championship title in Dubai next week, although he will once again be competing against a stacked field.
He is, however, in a fantastic position to claim a fourth successive Race to Dubai title and a seventh overall this year.
