Tommy Fleetwood is now a PGA Tour winner, after his hugely gratifying victory at the Tour Championship.

There was nobody more deserving of a win than Fleetwood this week at the Tour Championship.

He arrived at East Lake ahead of his 164th PGA Tour start looking to finish his season in style, and boy did he do just that.

Fleetwood received huge support from the fans at the Tour Championship, and that highlights just how popular he is, given the fact that he came up against many of America’s Ryder Cup team at East Lake.

The Englishman has been incredibly consistent this season, as he has been over the past five years.

And now he finally has a PGA Tour trophy to show for his efforts.

Fleetwood was in fine form all week at the Tour Championship, and now he will surely go on to win many more PGA Tour titles after his success at East Lake.

Rich Beem was speaking on Sky Sports in the UK about Fleetwood’s win at the Tour Championship on Sunday.

And Beem responded when asked whether he expects the Englishman to win more on the PGA Tour now.

He said: A lot. I told him something back in 2012 when I was playing on the European Tour and I said something to him and I still believe it. I will keep that between him and me but I said something to him and I meant it.

I think that with this victory I think it’s going to be a landslide to more of them. I think these are going to come fast and furious. He may not win all of them, but I think he is going to be in contention and be right in the mix.

I think he is just getting started.

It does feel like Fleetwood’s win at East Lake was a watershed moment in his career. The floodgates are now open and the 34-year-old from Southport, England could be on the cusp of a hugely exciting era of success.
