Ben Griffin will represent America at the Ryder Cup for the first time after receiving a captain’s pick from Keegan Bradley.
Griffin was tipped to miss the Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black, but he will make his debut as one of Bradley’s six picks.
The American Ryder Cup team is complete following the selections, which come after six players qualified automatically.
Scottie Scheffler and Bryson DeChambeau were among the players involved in that group of players, who welcome Europe to New York next month.
Bradley’s picks arrive ahead of those of his fellow Ryder Cup captain Luke Donald, who will announce the remaining members of his team on Monday.

Phil Mickelson praised Bradley following his Ryder Cup selections, which involved the captain not picking himself.
And the six-time major champion has now shared another reaction, this time regarding Ryder Cup debutant Griffin.
Sharing his delight at being named on the team, Griffin wrote on X: “Four years ago I wanted to give up the game forever.
“I have the strongest team around me that brought me back, and now I’m going to give it all to help this team win at Bethpage.”
Replying with clapping emojis, LIV Golf star Mickelson commented: “Congratulations. You’re an inspiration.”
How did Ben Griffin perform on the PGA Tour in 2025?
Bradley certainly got a good look at many of his players this season, including fellow PGA Tour member Griffin.
The 29-year-old, who turned professional in 2018, made a huge 28 appearances this season, securing two wins.
They represent the only two wins of his PGA Tour career so far, arriving at the Charles Schwab Challenge and the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.
The American also finished as runner-up at the Memorial Tournament, and secured 10 top-10 finishes overall.

Only world number one Scheffler was the better player at Muirfield Village in June, while Griffin ended his season on a very high note.
He finished T9 and T12 at the St. Jude Championship and the BMW Championship respectively, before a T10 Tour Championship finish.
