Phil Mickelson is back in contention to win again at LIV Virginia on Sunday.
Mickelson is one of the most legendary golfers to have ever graced the game.
Whilst his move to LIV Golf may well have tarnished his legacy somewhat, he is still as competitive as ever.
Mickelson has received criticism for some of his comments since joining LIV, with Brandel Chamblee labelling some of his remarks as ‘insanely idiotic’.
I’m sure the 54-year-old won’t care one little bit about what Chamblee said.

All he will be interested in at this stage of his career is remaining competitive on LIV and giving himself one more chance to win another major – preferably the US Open.
His performance at LIV Virginia this week will have given him huge confidence ahead of the US Open at Oakmont next week.
Phil Mickelson posts message during rain delay in final round of LIV Virginia
Mickelson is well known for his social media activity these days.
And the six-time major champion didn’t pass up the opportunity to send his followers a message midway through the final round at LIV Virginia.
There was a rain delay of about 45 minutes during the final round at The Robert Trent Jones Golf Club, and when play was paused, Mickelson had a three-foot putt remaining on the 12th hole to tie the lead.

The 54-year-old took to his official X account to post the following message:
“Restarting in 10 mins with a 3 foot birdie putt to tie for the lead. I don’t know how it’ll all play out but this is so much fun.“
Could Phil Mickelson complete the Grand Slam at Oakmont?
Mickelson is one of the two active players who are currently one major away from completing the Grand Slam, alongside Jordan Spieth.
However, the 54-year-old has somewhat been forgotten about when discussions turn to potential winners of the Grand Slam.
His poor form over the past two years has meant that he has headed into recent US Opens with nobody really fancying his chances of winning.
However, if he goes on to win LIV Virginia on Sunday, Mickelson’s fans may well start believing again.
It will still be a long shot, but stranger things have happened, right?
