Another PGA Tour season has reached its conclusion, with Sami Valimaki winning The RSM Classic to end 2025.
Valimaki finished on 23-under at The RSM Classic, earning a one-shot win over Max McGreevy at Sea Island Golf Club.
Ricky Castillo finished third on 21-under, with three players ending the latest PGA Tour event in a tie for fourth on 19-under.
But Valimaki has rightly taken all of the plaudits, clinching the title with rounds of 66, 62, 65 and 66 in Georgia.

The success has just helped create history on the PGA Tour, with Valimaki representing Finland’s first-ever winner.
Reacting to the fantastic victory, the emotional Finnish champion said: “It has been a long road, of course.
“I feel like it’s a really tough year even when I kind of played decent golf, and then to keep pushing and find some good grooves in the last few tournaments, it feels amazing.”

Valimaki had been threatening to finally get over the line on the PGA Tour, having just finished T2 at the World Wide Technology Championship.
He boasts one win and one runner-up finish from 26 events this season, along with four top 10s and nine top 25s.

With his success, however, he’s now earned a two-year exemption on the PGA Tour, with his 51st placing in the FedExCup earning him a spot in the first two $20million Signature Events of 2026.
It’s quite a story for the 27-year-old, who missed the cut at the PGA Championship, his only major appearance in 2025.
