All will be revealed tonight when it comes to the Myrtle Beach Qualifier and who won the YouTube/influencer tournament to play a PGA Tour event.

The Myrtle Beach Qualifier has captured the imagination of the golfing world but there has been a long way for everyone to see who has come out on top.

The likes of Peter Finch, Fat Perez, Luke Kwon and more are all under a strict embargo to not reveal the results ahead of tonight’s release.

Of course, the aforementioned Finch has spoken on the qualifier previously. Initially, Finch revealed it would indeed be the end of April when we found out the winner, while his crew members revealed that they’d been given strict instructions when filming as well.

And sticking to his word on his latest Rough Cut Podcast episode, Finch didn’t quite delve into the result but did tell his viewers to make sure they tuned in to a number of upcoming videos, promising entertainment.

Peter Finch discusses Myrtle Beach Qualifier ahead of results reveal

Speaking about the qualifier he played in, Finch was speaking about the reveal video tonight and also his upcoming video of his own round on Friday.

And hinting at some great golf on display, Finch suggested there’s a lot to be had from tuning in.

“I would watch both videos. I would watch both. Obviously we can’t reveal the result just yet because we are technically still ahead of embargo, but watch it when it comes out then watch ours when it comes out on Friday as well. I think you will be…entertained, as Maximus Decimus Meridius shouted,” Finch said.

What PGA pros think about the Myrtle Beach Qualifier

Not everyone in the golfing world has appreciated YouTubers and influencers being given the chance to play a PGA Tour event.

However, given the size of the YouTube world right now, it’s not surprising to see it being given a run.

And in fairness, Sahith Theegala has spoken of his admiration for the YouTube golf world.

“It would be interesting to see some kind of format like that, I know YouTube golf is taking off and there is a lot of really, really good players on YouTube making great content. I’m sure there is some ideas around that.

“I don’t even know if I’m allowed to talk about this but the Myrtle Beach Q things with a bunch of, I don’t even like calling them influencers because they are doing such a great job growing the game, but more stuff like that can only help the game as it brings more fans into the game and brings a slightly different crowd into the game so I’m all for it,” he said.

Interest in who wins the event, then, is going to be huge when the video drops at 6pm tonight.
