Incredibly, Nelly Korda is still yet to win a tournament on the LPGA Tour in 2025.
LPGA Tour superstar Korda won seven times in 2024 but she has found the going very tough this year.
However, it is worth pointing out that Korda has actually improved on the LPGA Tour compared to last year in the strokes gained total and scoring average categories.
She just hasn’t won yet, and that goes to show how fine the margins are at the top level.
Unfortunately, Korda has struggled with numerous different injuries in 2025, and that may explain why she’s been unable to get over the line.
The 27-year-old finished in a tie for fourth place at the Lotte Championship at the Hoakalei Country Club in Hawaii last week.
But when will we see her in action again?
Nelly Korda says how long she plans to spend away from the LPGA Tour
It has been a long and physically punishing season for the world number two it seems.
Korda spoke to reporters after her final round 69 in Hawaii, and admitted to feeling fatigued.

She said: “Yeah, it’s tough. I would say by this time of the year my body is definitely worn down. I do have some injuries I’ve had in the past that kind of linger that are never really fully resolved, that you still do PT on every single day, you do therapy.
“So making sure you’re 100% with your body or as 100% as you can be is always the end goal going into kind of the first day of the event.“
She was then asked when LPGA Tour fans can expect to see her again.
Korda replied: “Obviously International Crown and in Florida.“
The Hanwha LIFEPLUS International Crown starts on October 23rd and will take place in South Korea.
Meanwhile, the Florida events Korda is alluding to begin in mid-November with the ANNIKA and end in December with the Grand Thornton Invitational.
Nelly Korda’s LPGA Tour stats in 2025 and what they mean
Korda has actually played well this year, with not much to show for it unfortunately.
She has made the cut in all 17 events she’s played in and has recorded eight top-10 finishes.
Here are her stats from the 2025 season so far, and they make for pretty impressive reading.
| Stats | Korda’s 2025 rank |
| Strokes gained off the tee | 1st |
| Strokes gained approach | 21st |
| Strokes gained around the green | 56th |
| Strokes gained tee to green | 3rd |
| Strokes gained putting | 24th |
| Strokes gained total | 4th |
Korda’s short game seems to be the only thing that has let her down on the LPGA Tour this season.
If she manages to improve her chipping and pitching in the coming weeks and maintains her unrivalled ball-striking quality, she will surely end the year with a win or two to show for her efforts.
