Nelly Korda continues her LPGA Tour season this week as she takes on the CME Group Tour Championship in Florida.
Tiburon Golf Club plays host to the LPGA Tour event, which features star names such as Korda and world number one Jeeno Thitikul.
Ahead of the tournament, however, the 2026 calendar has been confirmed, which includes an LPGA Tour record prize fund of over $132million.
April sees the return of the first major championship, with the four other events scheduled between then and the very start of August.

Nelly Korda declares one big problem with the 2026 LPGA Tour schedule
That section of the calendar has now been discussed by Korda, who was asked what she likes and what she doesn’t like about the 2026 schedule.
She said: “I love the beginning of the season. I think having a West Coast swing at the beginning of the season is great.
“Where I would love to see improvements obviously is the majors. I feel like they’re really bunched up. But I would say it’s a marathon. It’s not a sprint. I think if we continuously make small improvements it’s going to get there.
“You can’t snap your fingers and for it all to be done. I’ve seen major improvements in our scheduling as well.”
It certainly is a “bunched up” part of the schedule, with The Chevron Championship in April followed by June’s US Women’s Open.
The Women’s PGA Championship is also in June, followed by The Amundi Evian Championship in July and the Women’s Open in late July/early August.
How Nelly Korda really feels about going an entire season without a win
Another significant storyline heading into the CME Group Tour Championship is Korda’s record this season.
Remarkably, the former world number one has failed to claim a single win, having clinched a huge seven titles in 2024.
Should Kai Trump have received a sponsor exemption for The Annika?
Summarising her latest season, she said: “Yeah, it’s definitely been an interesting year I would say. There has been good; there has been flashes of really good; there has been flashes of I don’t know what just happened.
“But I would say overall that’s just kind of golf. Coming off last year it’s kind of always going to be difficult to back that up. But this is my ninth year on the LPGA Tour and every year has been very, very different.
“So, again, you know, I get to do what I love. I get to compete against the best players in the world that at the end of the day raise my game too. Even I’m not playing well they make me want to raise my game all the time.
“It’s been fun. It’s been a good year at the end of the day. I’ve been healthy for the most part. That was definitely a very big goal of mine going into this year, is making sure that I was healthy.
“But, yeah, it definitely sucks in a way that I didn’t get to raise a trophy, but I still have one more week to try to get that done.”

Importantly, Korda has had her injury problems throughout the season, which will have certainly played a part in her lack of success.
But as she alluded to, following her stunning 2024 campaign – which included a major win – was always going to be a difficult task.
The 27-year-old is a two-time major champion, and currently sits on 15 LPGA Tour titles ahead of another attempt at success this week.
