LPGA Tour confirms record prize money for the 2026 season
One significant aspect of the new season is the prize money on offer, with the schedule featuring a total prize fund of more than $132million.
It’s the largest prize fund in the history of the LPGA Tour, which starts next year with the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions at the end of January.
Non-major tournaments account for $82million of the total, with the major events therefore totalling around $50million.

Where are the LPGA Tour major championships in 2026?
In total, the stars of the LPGA Tour will head to 13 different countries and regions and 13 states across the United States in 2026.
It’s a scenario that really excites LPGA commissioner Craig Kessler, who said: “I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built, and even more excited about where we’re headed.
“This schedule reflects the work we’ve put into elevating our courses, improving our routing, and continuing to grow purses.
“Coming off our 75th anniversary season, we wanted a calendar that gives our athletes great stages, better flow, and even more opportunity – and I think 2026 delivers that.
“We’ve made real progress, and we’re clear-eyed about where we can keep getting better in 2027 and beyond.”
As for the major championships, the action starts with The Chevron Championship in Houston, Texas, and ends with the Women’s Open in Lytham St Annes, England.
In between, there is the US Women’s Open, the Women’s PGA Championship and The Amundi Evian Championship.
