Everyone who plays golf longs for the perfect swing and often, it’s Rory McIlroy who is looked at as the man to follow on that road to perfection.

McIlroy is very much seen as having one of the best swings in the game and it’s no surprise he’s had the success he’s had with how he strikes a golf ball.

There is, of course, more than one way to skin a cat and as we’ve seen over the years, different swings can work just as well.

The likes of Jim Furyk and Tony Finau have shown how a unique swing can bring success, while Bryson DeChambeau has changed the game with his power.

Still, it is McIlroy who is usually held up as the gold standard.

But according to current PGA Tour star Min Woo Lee, there is one man who has a nicer swing than McIlroy right now.

Min Woo Lee says former Masters winner has a better swing than Rory McIlroy

Min Woo was doing a top ten swings for golf digest where he was given golfers at random before putting them in a blind top ten.

And while he opted to put McIlroy in at number two, Min Woo did go with Presidents Cup teammate and fellow Aussie, Adam Scott, as his number one.

Scott has been lauded for having one of the smoothest swings in golf ever since he came on tour and now in his 40s, it hasn’t changed.

The experienced former Masters winner had a fine end to the 2024 season and was in contention in several events.

Adam Scott’s swing the envy of others

It’s not a made up comment to say that Scott’s swing makes others on Tour jealous.

The Aussie has long been considered one of the best to swing a golf club and Justin Thomas labelled Scott’s swing as the ‘epitome of what every golfer wants to be’.

That is quite the praise from a fellow pro and the reality is that Scott might have won more majors over the years, such is his talent.

As for Min Woo’s list, he included the likes of Tiger Woods a bit further down than he wanted, while the likes of Nelly Korda and Bryson DeChambeau also featured.
