15-year-old Miles Russell completed his first-ever PGA Tour round relatively unscathed at the Rocket Mortgage Classic in Detroit.

Russell made two birdies, two bogeys and one damaging double on the 6th. With the 15-year-old currently in a tie for 128th, he now faces a battle to make the cut.

Akshay Bhatia leads the way on eight under, and defending champion Rickie Fowler is just two shots back after carding a 66.

Russell, however, deserves credit for posting a respectable round in what were highly nerve-wracking conditions.
