Tiger Woods’ return to action was postponed after he announced that he underwent a seventh back surgery.
The greatest golfer of all time last played in February 2024 after the Genesis Invitational, where Woods pulled out after one round. Now his return in 2026 has been cast in serious doubt.
And even longer ago was his last win on the PGA Tour. Months after he won The Masters in 2019, Woods took a victory at the ZOZO Championship for his most recent win on the Tour.
We have accepted that Woods will never pass Jack Nicklaus for the most major championship victories ever, but have we seen the end of Woods’ winning on the PGA Tour?

Michael Kim shared if he thinks Tiger Woods will win again on the PGA Tour
At this point, we’d all take seeing a healthy Woods back and playing on the PGA Tour. It seems like an age since we last saw the 15-time major winner in competitive action on the course.
Michael Kim, who won his only PGA Tour event in 2018, said if he thinks Woods will rise to the top again.
During a Q&A on X he was asked, “Will Tiger ever win on the PGA again?”, and his reply is below.
So, a vote of no confidence for the 49-year-old Woods from Kim, and honestly, it’s likely he’s right. It would be a miraculous return to victory after yet another surgery, but Woods has made incredible comebacks before in his career.
Michael Kim names his most underrated golfer
When asked who the most underrated golfer who deserves more media attention was, Kim chose 2025 Ryder Cupper Russell Henley.
Henley automatically qualified for Keegan Bradley’s Ryder Cup team, winning the Arnold Palmer Invitational in March.
He didn’t win a match in Team USA’s loss, however, and Henley missed a crucial putt against Shane Lowry on Sunday, allowing the Irishman to retain for Europe.
Despite that, Kim still thinks the five-time winner on the PGA Tour deserves more love from the media!
Michael Kim names the most difficult course he has played in 2025
Kim was asked about some of the courses he has played this year, and named the most difficult one of the year.
When asked what the toughest and most fun he played in 2025 were, he named Oakmont, host of the US Open, as the hardest, and TPC Scottsdale, host of Waste Management, as the most fun.
Oakmont was incredibly difficult for players at the US Open this year, with only the winner, JJ Spaun, finishing under par. And the Waste Management is one of the most raucous and lively atmospheres on the golfing calendar.

But Kim went on to name two different courses as his favorite of the year. He posted to X, “I generally play the same courses, but Augusta was great this yr. Delhi Golf Club was really fun too.”
Delhi Golf Club was the host of the DP World India Championship, won by Tommy Fleetwood. Because of visa issues, Kim was unable to play a practice round on the unique, narrow course. Despite that, he finished T9 at 16 under.
Kim also named Cypress Point as the course he hasn’t yet played but would most like to.
