Ludvig Aberg is back in action this week at The RSM Classic, the latest event on the 2024 PGA Tour calendar.
Aberg could shine on the PGA Tour next year given his superb season, which has been massively interrupted by injury.
The Swede is preparing for his first PGA Tour start in almost two months at The RSM Classic, having undergone left knee surgery in September.
Aberg admitted swing struggles this season, but the 25-year-old still impressed with three runner-up finishes.
He secured eight top-10 finishes, with Aberg making 17 of 19 cuts, having withdrawn from the Wells Fargo Championship in May.

The Swede then played the PGA Championship with a knee brace, with Aberg forced into surgery to repair a torn medial meniscus.
But he is now ready to return to action, with Aberg saying in his opening press conference at The RSM Classic: “Last couple weeks I’ve been itching to get out here. It’s been a long time coming it feels like.
“I felt early in the year this must have been somewhere around April, May, something like that it started to act up a little bit. I didn’t really know what it was. We got it checked out and then I still felt fine, so it didn’t hinder me in terms of my training or my play.

“I knew that I needed to have surgery at some point, but I also felt like I could last throughout the season, obviously playing through the (FedEx Cup) Playoffs, and then after the Playoffs was a good time to kind of deal with it and get it done.
“It was the first time I hadn’t been able to play golf from that regard, so it was a little bit weird. Didn’t really know how to handle it. Ultimately I felt like I made the right choice in terms of the timing and how we handled it. If I were to do it again, I would do the same thing. I feel 100 percent, otherwise I wouldn’t be here.”

And despite his injury issues, Aberg is undoubtedly one of the players to watch this week given his stellar season prior to undergoing surgery.
