Ludvig Aberg has turned his attention to the PGA Championship this week, which is now underway at Quail Hollow.
Aberg is relishing the PGA Championship challenge, having been paired with Jordan Spieth and Patrick Reed for rounds one and two.
He enters the tournament on the back of a T60 finish at the Truist Championship, his 10th PGA Tour event of the season.
World number one Scottie Scheffler headlines the 2025 PGA Championship, and he has been paired with Rory McIlroy and defending champion Xander Schauffele.
It was McIlroy who emerged victorious at the first major championship of the season, winning The Masters at Augusta National.

Ludvig Aberg praises ‘really good’ LPGA Tour player Ingrid Lindblad
And while Aberg is looking to build on another strong finish, he has also been keeping tabs on the LPGA Tour.
Ahead of the PGA Championship, the Swede was reminded of a first LPGA Tour success for his compatriot Ingrid Lindblad, who won the JM Eagle LA Championship last month.

Asked what he attributes their early career success to and indeed if he can feed off her, Aberg said: “It’s amazing, Ingrid, she’s a really good player.
“She was really good in college at LSU, winning however many times that was, and it’s cool to see her (win).
“I think she was starting out on the Epson Tour and worked her way up on the LPGA, and I wasn’t surprised when I saw her win that first event.

“I think she’s going to have a lot more coming. But yeah, I think it speaks a lot to the Swedish Federation. We are both sort of coming through the same program.
“We’ve sort of seen the same coaches and in the same sort of upbringing, and it’s very good. I think you’ll keep seeing good players.
“I mean, we have a lot of good players coming up, Challenge Tour guys, European DP World Tour guys, and also now a couple of PGA Tour guys. I think Swedish golf is definitely strong and I think it’s just going to get stronger, too.”
Ingrid Lindblad makes strong start to LPGA Tour career
Lindblad only joined the LPGA Tour this year, but already has a win to her name thanks to that success at El Caballero Country Club.
Like Aberg, she is 25 years old, and has made four cuts from her six starts on the LPGA Tour in 2025 so far, with one top 10 and a low round of 63.

Her compatriot meanwhile also has one win to his name this season, with the Swede clinching the title at the Genesis Open in February.
And the pair have both taken on a major championship, with Lindblad finishing T52 at The Chevron Championship and Aberg finishing seventh at The Masters.
