The Individual Championship took place in Chicago last weekend with Jon Rahm lifting the trophy in his debut season.

The Spaniard beat Joaquin Nieman – who finished second in the season standings – and Sergio Garcia by three strokes.

LIV Golf now heads to Dallas where the 13 teams will compete in matchplay in the quarter-final and semi-final before reverting to stroke play for the final to determine the winning team.

When will the LIV Golf Team Championship take place?

The LIV Golf Team Championship will take place from Friday the 20th of September 2024 until Sunday the 22nd of September 2024.

The LIV Golf Team Championship will be played at Maridoe Golf Club. The course is around a 30-minute drive away from Downtown Dallas.

Who won the LIV Golf Team Championship last year?

The LIV Golf Team Championship was held at Trump National Doral in Miami in the previous two seasons.

Crushers GC, captained by Bryson DeChambeau, won the event last year by two strokes from Bubba Watson’s Range Goats GC.

In 2022, Dustin Johnson and Patrick Reed helped 4Aces GC beat Cameron Smith and Punch GC (now Ripper GC) in the final.

Who are the teams to watch at the LIV Golf Team Championship?

The top four teams in the standings receive byes into the semi-final at the LIV Golf Team Championship and are therefore the most likely to win it all. Those are Crushers GC, Legion XIII, Ripper GC and Smash GC.

Crushers GC are the most well-rounded team, with DeChambeau, Paul Casey, Charles Howell III and Anirban Lahiri all in the top 32 in the individual standings this season.

Meanwhile, Legion XIII must rely on Individual Champion Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton if they are to have a chance of winning in Dallas.

What is the prize money at the LIV Golf Team Championship?

The LIV Golf Team Championship has a total purse of $50 million, with each team receiving a share. The winning team will get $14m.

60% of the prize money will be reinvested into the team while 40% will go directly to the players.
