The LIV Golf League has confirmed its 2025 schedule, and there are certainly some interesting dates for the diary.

With the breakaway venture in the midst of its trading season – which has seen Tom McKibbin heavily linked to Legion XII and Tony Finau once again tipped for a LIV move – the 2025 schedule is now set in stone.

Starting in Riyadh on February 6, LIV will play five events before the Masters Tournament in April. The popular Adelaide stop, along with Hong Kong, Singapore, and Miami, will all take place before the year’s first major.

Interestingly, LIV Golf’s three end-of-season events will run alongside the PGA Tour‘s FedEx Cup playoffs.

The Chicago stop will happen the same weekend as the St Jude Championship, which takes place at TPC Southwind and is the first FedEx Cup playoff stop.

Indianapolis will then host a LIV event on August 15, which will run parallel to the BMW Championship at Caves Valley Golf Club. Finally, the season-ending Michigan event will run alongside the Tour Championship at East Lake.

According to Sports Illustrated, the schedule overlap was not intended to be a dig at the PGA Tour. Instead, the Saudi-backed venture is eager to conclude its season before the football season begins in the US.

Three new LIV Golf events in 2025

LIV has included three new events in its 2025 schedule. The first will take place at Chapultepec Golf Club in Mexico, the previous home of the World Golf Championships-Mexico Championship, which took place on the PGA Tour between 2017 and 2020.

Robert Trent Jones Golf Club, host of the 2024 Solheim Cup, will also host the 2025 event. The Washington event will take place one week before the US Open at Oakmont.

The final new venue is St. John’s Resort in Michigan, which will be used to host the Team Championship and last event of the 2025 season in August.
