The United States team are stepping up their preparation for the 2025 Ryder Cup at the Procore Championship this week.
10 of the 12 players in Keegan Bradley’s US squad are competing at the PGA Tour event in Napa, California.
Only Xander Schauffele, whose wife recently gave birth, and Bryson DeChambeau, who is not allowed to play due to his LIV Golf ties, are missing from the field.
Before the Procore Championship, Bradley spoke about the importance of his senior players at the Ryder Cup later this month.

Keegan Bradley praises ‘really special’ senior Ryder Cup players
While the European team only have one new player (Rasmus Hojgaard), the United States will have four rookies (JJ Spaun, Russell Henley, Ben Griffin, and Cameron Young) at Bethpage Black.
Bradley must make sure that they are not overwhelmed by the occasion, and his senior players can play an important role.
The US captain revealed in his latest press conference that many have actually offered to take the rookies under their wing at the Ryder Cup.
“Yeah, I think foursomes is obviously the tougher format to pair because there are so many more factors,” Bradley explained. “There’s the golf ball. You really want to match up the personalities with foursomes because it is a way tougher format.
“I think when you’re on the road, it’s much more comforting to have a best ball partner. So when you’re on the road and you’re standing on that first tee by yourself, in that alternate shot, it’s much tougher, so I think that would be the reason.
“It’s also easier to play better at home, it seems like over the last 30 years. But foursomes is… we have some history in some of the pairings. We also have a bunch of new guys, and it’s been great to see the willingness of our guys to really play with anybody.
“Again, I don’t necessarily feel like we’ve had that in the past teams that I’ve had. Willing veterans coming to us, saying, ‘Put us with guys that haven’t played a Ryder Cup,’ which is really special. It’s a big… It’s a difference maker, I think, in how you’re going to do it in the Ryder Cup.”

Keegan Bradley says the United States team are closer than ever
The biggest criticism of the United States team in modern Ryder Cup history has not been their golfing ability, but their team spirit.
The Europeans have often won with less quality because they had such remarkable togetherness and passion for the competition.
Well, Bradley believes that will not be the case at Bethpage Black, as the US team are closer than he has ever seen before.
“Yeah, we have a wide range of rookies, veterans, Scottie Scheffler, No. 1 player in the world, but we really have a great team,” he added. “These guys really care about one another; they treat each other with respect. It’s the closest team I’ve ever seen.
Our Presidents Cup team last year was easily the best team room I’ve ever been a part of. Something that you really dream about as a kid with these team events. This group looks a little different on paper, but it’s still the same dynamic.
“This group of players are truly friends and they’re friends off the golf course, which in my teams that I played before this, I don’t know if we exactly had that as much as this group does. They really care about one another.
“And the thing that I’ve noticed that’s most impressive is they really pull for each other, and they want each other to do well. When I was playing, I wasn’t really pulling for anybody; I wanted to beat and play my best. These guys are genuinely excited for their friend who wins a tournament, and that’s really great.”
