The wait for the 2025 Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black is finally over! The match-ups for the first session have been confirmed.

Team captains Keegan Bradley and Luke Donald have just announced which players will compete in the foursomes session on Friday morning.

Europe already had one hand on the trophy after the opening session in Rome two years ago, so both sides will recognize the importance of a fast start.

The Golfing Gazette has everything you need to know about the Friday foursomes at Bethpage Black, from the pairings to the tee times.

Ryder Cup foursomes matches announced

Keegan Bradley and Luke Donald have confirmed the 16 players who will participate in the foursomes session on Friday morning.

As expected, Scottie Scheffler, Bryson DeChambeau, and Justin Thomas will represent the United States at the earliest opportunity.

On the European side, it is no surprise that Donald has put his faith in Rory McIlroy, Tommy Fleetwood, and Jon Rahm.

When will the Friday fourball matches be announced?

The United States and European pairings for the fourballs session on Friday afternoon will be announced during the foursomes.

Here are the four tee times:

Luke Donald explained the procedure to Sky Sports: “I think it’s around 11 am that we have to give in our pairings.

“We have up until then, or one minute before if we really want to switch. Usually, we have a pretty good plan in place for that Friday and the same for Saturday.”
