What a win that was for Justin Thomas at the RBC Heritage.
It has been a long time coming for Thomas – three years in fact since he was last victorious on the PGA Tour.
Winning is never easy of course, and the fact that the RBC Heritage was Thomas’s 16th victory of his career is testament to just how much talent he possesses.
Incredibly, Thomas had never actually holed a putt to win a tournament before his play-off victory over Andrew Novak at Harbour Town Links on Sunday.
The two-time major champion showed his class on the 18th hole at Harbour Town with a glorious birdie that sealed the win, and the sweet $3.6 million cheque that comes along with it.

Thomas will now be looking at the remainder of the 2025 season as an opportunity to really kick on on rack up some more victories.
Justin Thomas breaks 2025 PGA Tour curse with RBC Heritage win
The win at Harbour Town Links on Sunday will have meant the world to Thomas.
The 31-year-old is now just one win away from cracking the all-time top 50 list.
He clearly knows how to win, and enjoys the pressure that comes along with being in contention.

How sweet that victory on Sunday would have tasted for him, after some of the really tough times that he endured last season.
With his win at the RBC Heritage, Thomas became the first player in the 2025 season to win a PGA Tour event having led after the first round of a tournament.
And even more incredibly, he has now won five out of the 12 tournaments that he has led after day one:
Integrity in the extreme from Justin Thomas leads to good Karma
On the second hole of his third round at the RBC Heritage, Thomas found the waste area to the left of the fairway with his tee shot.
Whilst moving debris, Thomas inadvertently caused his ball to move, but nobopdy would have noticed had he not called a penalty on himself.
The 31-year-old was penalised one stroke in the end, and that obviously could have proven to be costly for him.
As it happened, fate conspired in Thomas’s favour, and he earned the victory in what will undoubtedly end up being a huge turning point for his career.
Really good stuff from the two-time major champion.
