Justin Thomas’ return to winning ways at the RBC Heritage was a massive moment but it also left the two-time major champion with a major headache as well.
Thomas’ win in the playoff over Andrew Novak ended a three-year barren spell for the American as he finally won again on the PGA Tour.
The win boosted Thomas’ chances of a Ryder Cup spot and in doing so, put him back on the map in terms of being in contention for major championships.
Nevertheless, Thomas was facing a big call over his caddie after Joe Greiner was on the bag at Harbour Town Links with Matt Minister out with an injury.
However, any notion of that being a lingering decision for Thomas have been quelled by the man himself.

Justin Thomas says who his long-term caddie will be after winning the RBC Heritage
Joe Greiner has done a sound job on the bag for Thomas and after pocketing over $350,000 for his work at the RBC Heritage, he’ll be more than delighted with his few weeks’ work.
However, while Greiner has impressed since moving on from Max Homa, Thomas has now told SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio that the partnership won’t be extending much longer.
Quite what is next for Greiner remains to be seen. But with Homa once again finishing well down the pecking order, clearly, his current bad run isn’t anything to do with the caddie.
As for Thomas, the PGA Championship will be firmly in his sights as he looks to make it three majors.
