While all the focus was on Rory McIlroy winning out in Dubai to close out the DP World Tour season, the ever-impressive Justin Rose continued his quest to get back to the very top.

Rose was nowhere near being in contention at the season-ending DP World Tour Championship as he finished 34th.

Rose also finished down in 32nd in the Race to Dubai standings, while he also finished well down the pecking order in 55th in the FedEx Cup standings.

Nevertheless, the 44-year-old remains a fine player and after coming second at The Open in 2024, Rose will be feeling there’s good times ahead in 2025.

And taking to social media to pay homage to another season and congratulate Rory McIlroy, Rose admitted that he feels something is ‘bubbling’.

Justin Rose looks forward to 2025 as he sends message to Rory McIlroy

Taking to X, Rose sent his congratulations to McIlroy and the ten players who have earned PGA Tour cards.

And in the same message, Rose also suggested his game is trending in the right direction.

Justin Rose will fancy one more big win before he’s done

While time is clearly not on Justin Rose’s side at 44, he’s also in fantastic shape and has never really relied on being the biggest hitter out on tour.

The Englishman has the one US Open in his bag that nobody can take away but having finished second at Royal Troon, his appetite will have been whet for more.

Like any top player on the PGA Tour or DP World Tour, they’ll always fancy being in the mix to win the majors.

Rose, then, will be desperate to prove he can still do the business in 2025.
